• In Chios Marina inthe Marina , we put our boat against the wall in the extreme corner of the marina. Calm weather, looked like a safe Haven. A fisherman came along, “Told me, too late now with the wind coming up, a 10m boat got caught in there in bad weather. It sank.” Then three days of hell, trying to keep Impetuous alive. It was that bad.
  Tomorrow we move.
• Moral of the story, avoid extreme ends of Marinas, storms can produce avalanches of water which if happens in blocked walls and your boat is in there, you are in trouble.
